Vamos A Venezuela exists to elevate and empower small rural businesses in Venezuela by exposing their services and craft to the world. Posadas, guides, and small businesses across the country carry craft and hospitality that rarely reaches a global audience on its own. The marketplace is how travelers find them — real listings, honest safety context, and itineraries that put visitors in front of the people actually doing the work.
A stronger visitor economy starts with the places people live and work. Our aim is to support locally identified improvements that help small tourism businesses welcome visitors while serving their communities.
Conversations can begin with a specific need: access to a place, upkeep of shared spaces, or the facilities a small business depends on. The starting point is the community, the proposed improvement, and who would maintain it. Contact our team to discuss a project; funding and delivery commitments must be confirmed for each proposal.
Our goal is to make practical learning more accessible to the people behind Venezuelan hospitality and craft. Areas of interest include presenting a business online, communicating with travelers, and sharing local knowledge with a wider audience.
Educators, guides and business owners can help identify useful topics or propose learning materials. Tell us who the learning would serve, the language and format, and the skills you could share. Course dates and enrollment details will be published when confirmed.
This part of our mission focuses on recovery for communities and small businesses affected by earthquakes. The aim is to connect identified needs with people and organizations able to support rebuilding livelihoods.
To discuss a recovery need or an offer of support, share the community involved, a local point of contact, and the kind of assistance proposed. Specific projects and participation arrangements need to be confirmed with the people involved. This is not an emergency response service.
We welcome conversations with organizations whose work supports local livelihoods, education and community recovery. The goal is to connect knowledge, local relationships and resources around clearly defined needs.
A partnership conversation starts with your organization, the communities you work with, and the contribution you have in mind. Roles, responsibilities and any funding arrangements must be agreed together before a partnership is announced.
Beyond the marketplace
Alongside the marketplace, Vamos A Venezuela helps distribute grants and ramp-up funds to small businesses, so the people doing the work of hospitality and craft in rural Venezuela can grow it.
